The Loan Process
Everyone at Continental Funding Group, Inc. strives to make
the entire loan process easy to understand and free of complications.
We work with you during every phase and are more than happy to answer any of
your questions.
Listed below is a step-by-step process for getting a loan with us (click on
highlighted words for more details):
Step 1: Contact Mortgage Specialist Teddy Amshoff, with Affordable
Mortgage Services, by completing an online
mortgage application or calling 502-386-7007.
Step 2: After a short phone conversation, your Loan Officer will analyze
your credit score and determine
which loan program best meets your needs. Our Loan Officers specialize in
creating individualized loan programs for each customer. Your Loan Officer will
give you several financing options and you decide what your monthly payment and
what financing option works best for yourself.
Step 3: You will now meet with your Loan Officer in our office or for
breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I can also meet you at your work or home. I will
bring a few Good Faith Estimates with different financing options for
you. During this time you will need to provide all the documents necessary for
the loan approval.
The following items are needed for our meeting...
1. Drivers License 2. Copy of most recent pay-stub or last year's tax
return 3. Two year work history
4. Address of Purchase Property 5. Previous residence for past two years.
Step 4: Your loan application will then be processed.
Step 5: In most cases, an appraiser will visit your home. A title company
will research the title to your property and issue a certificate of insurance.
Step 6: Once your loan has been approved, your Loan Officer will contact
you to set up an appointment for closing.
Step 7: You will receive your money 4 business days after closing.
Step 8: Your first mortgage payment will not be for 30 - 45 days after
closing.
